Committed to a Collaborative World
Hello, I'm Rosario Iozzia, a researcher, project coordinator, and community builder with a Master of Arts in History and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from York University. My graduate research focused on the history of the Italian diaspora, examining the postwar migration and settlement of the Italian community to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario through archival research and qualitative analysis.
My broader research interests include international trade and economic development, migration and diasporas, public policy, and the historical relationships between Canada and the Global South.
Through research, nonprofit leadership, strategic communications, and consulting, I strive to connect people, ideas, and organizations to generate meaningful impact. Every project I undertake is driven by a simple belief: meaningful progress begins by connecting people, ideas, and communities.
I am fascinated by the ways research, storytelling, collaboration, and strategic thinking can strengthen communities, inspire innovation, and encourage meaningful dialogue across cultures and disciplines. Through every initiative, I strive to create opportunities for people to learn from one another. Ultimately, my mission is to help build a more connected, informed, and collaborative world.
